How does fundraising help all players of Eganville Minor
Hockey? Minor hockey expenses are more than just ice time. Not only are there various
capital expenses each season, development opportunities like our Goalie Clinics
do come at a cost.
Here are some of the capital expenses that occur in a season:
- Regular Equipment: Jerseys, Practice and Game Pucks, Carriers.
- Training Aids: Items like cones, rebound bar, stick handlers, goal targets.
- Development Clinics: Ice cost and instructors.
- Tournament Items: Championship banners and pucks, participant prizes for U7 and U9.
When funds generated from draws hosted by Eganville Minor Hockey are available to be used for these normal operating expenses, that is less cost that needs to be factored into the registration fees for everyone!
EDMHA also wants to give back to the teams! As fundraising becomes more successful there will be direct investments for each participating team that will assist with offsetting away tournament costs or providing more opportunities for a team to generate funds at their home tournament.
