What an amazing day of fast 4 on 4 hockey at the first ever Lisa Sharpe Memorial Tournament! Congratulations to our Champions: Steve Romain - The Mortgage Advisors who pulled off a tight 5-4 victory over Agnew Renovations with Hunter Prince scoring the tie breaking goal with 4 seconds to go in the game!
Joining Hunter with the victory was Caden Moir, Clara Pinchin, Mark Baillie, Nathan Donohue, Parker Pilon, Riley Comerford, Taylor Arminen, and backstopped by goalie Erik Seguin. The group was coached to success by Chris Moir.
The final amount is still being tallied but overall the day was a huge success! We had an amazing group of volunteers who worked to pull this off, but we also could not have done it without the kindness and generosity of the many supporters who donated towards the event: Whitetail Golf Club, Marki’s Tree Removal Services, Impeccable Home Cleaning Services, Erin Recoskie RIBO, CAIB - McDougall Insurance Broker, Riverside Dental, Eganville Foodland, Ketcha Star Daycare-Eganville, Irving Big Stop Pembroke, The New Oak Tree, Bonnechere Caves, B & B Auto Detailing, plus all of the individuals who also donated in one way or another.
