Eagles U15 B Champions
The Eganville Eagles took home the B Championship at their home tournament on Sunday, January 22nd, defeating Cumberland 6 - 5 in a back and forth game!

The B Championship game was tight as every time the Eagles would take the lead, Cumberland would immediately respond with a tying goal. With under a minute to play and the score tied 5 - 5 with goals from Parker Pilon (3) and Alex Purdie (2), a Cumberland turnover outside their blue line was picked up by Purdie who slid the puck five hole with 57 seconds to go in the game. It was all hand on deck to shut Cumberland down from there and the Eagles secures the championship victory. Player of the game was awarded to Matteo Tantalo.

Eagles opened the tournament playing against Renfrew 1. At the end of regulation the game was tied at 3 which forced overtime. Renfrew would score 1:12 into overtime to get past the Eagles 4-3 and put the Eagles on the B side of the tournament bracket. Eagles goals by Gavin McFarlane (assisted by Beau Kargus), Kayden Martin (assisted by Savannah Leahy), and Alex Purdie (assists Justin Johnson and Parker Pilon) Player of the game was awarded to Beau Kargus.

In their second game, Eagles faced off against West Carleton Warriors. Eagles cruised to victory, with a score of 6-1, with four goals from Parker Pilon (assists Alex Purdie(2), Cody Belaire, Mariah Leahy), and two goals from Alex Purdie (assists Parker Pilon and Landon Lapenskie). Player of the game was Justin Johnson.
