Eagles Day Success!
It was a great day of activities both on an off the ice as Eganville Minor Hockey hosted Eagles Day and then capped it off by conducting the opening face off for the Valley Timberwolves game!

Quin_Outside.jpgEagles Day started at 10:00am with U9 Tier 3 Valley Storm hosting Muskrat. A full day of action continued with every team hosting an opponent.

Valley Timberwolves players were on hand acting as honorary coaches and helping out with some of the activities.

Quin Zomers took an opportunity to try his hand at seeing how fast his shot was at the radar display outside earlier in the day.

Ahead of the game once the warm up was finished, Valley Timberwolves Captain Matthew Shulist took the time to speak to each of these Eagles individually with fist bumps and even gave one lucky Eagle a warm up puck.

It was an impressive display of sportsmanship that left the Eagles in awe, and certainly made for lots of smiles.

Eagles Colton Moir and Grayson Vance had the opportunity to lead the Timberwolves out onto the ice ahead of their game and stand with them during the anthem.
